Today we presented the school assembly. We all felt really nervous but once we started we were having a good time.
We feel very proud of ourselves for getting up in front of the whole school and talking in front of so many people!

Flashing lights and siren mean they are close to helping people.

They have to go to police college to train.

 The uniform is a

All this weighs 10 kgs.

Nurse Terri - A Community Nurse.

We were so lucky and grateful to have Nurse Terri come to talk to us about her very important job as a Community Nurse.
We heard about some of the things she does daily in her job.

Nurse Terri explained how to wash our hands correctly.
Nurse Terri carries this big bag with her which holds all the equipment she needs for her job, like bandages, tape, protective gloves and injections.
She showed us this 'Buzzy Bee' which has an ice pad underneath to numb an area before an injection is given.

Nurse Terri explained how to dress a wound.
Our 'patient' is very happy now!
She also takes peoples blood pressure.
We learnt that Nurse Terri and all Nurses have a very important role to play in our community.
Thank you Nurse Terri for showing us the wonderful work you do.
