Victorian Toys Presentations
8:19 AM |
As part of our Inquiry topic the junior children have been learning about past and present toys. Classes were able to have a hands on experience this week when Richard Lees shared his amazing assortment of toys that he has made and collected over the years. Mr Lees has worked as a curator at the Howick Historical Village and has a wealth of knowledge to share with the children. The children enjoyed being able to play with the toys and discuss the materials that were used in the construction of the toys that their great grandparents might have played with.
